Before You Arrive
A few gentle ways to prepare:
Arrive bare faced. Skip makeup if you can, especially mascara. It means more time on your skin, less on cleansing.
Skip actives for 48 hours. No retinol, AHAs, or strong exfoliants before your treatment, unless I've advised otherwise.
Hydrate. Plenty of water before (and after) helps your skin respond beautifully.
Come comfy. You'll be wrapped up and cosy on the bed, but wear something easy and relaxed.
Give yourself space. Try not to rush in from errands. A calm arrival makes for a better treatment.
My studio is a calm, private space. Soft lighting, gentle music, and a bed that feels like a warm cloud.
Every facial is tailored to your skin and how you're feeling on the day. Expect expert technique blended with mindful touch, and a full body exhale by the time we're done.
You might chat. You might drift off. Either is welcome.
What to Expect in Your Treatment
Aftercare
To keep that post facial glow going:
Keep it simple. Avoid exfoliants, actives, and heavy makeup for 24 to 48 hours. Let your skin breathe.
SPF, always. Your skin will be more sensitive to the sun. A good mineral SPF is essential, even on cloudy days.
Hands off. Your pores are open and your skin is fresh. Try to leave it uninterrupted.
Stay hydrated. Water and nourishing food support your skin's reset.
If I recommend anything specific during your treatment, follow that guidance first. Every skin is different.

Please note. Some sat navs confuse Woodend Close with Woodward Close (a few streets away). My front door is white. If you arrive at a brown door, you're in the wrong spot.
If your sat nav takes you to the wrong place, use RM17 5JX instead: This takes you to Russel Road. At the end, face the stone wall, turn left, then take the first right onto Woodend Close. Follow it up the short hill until you can't go any further. My driveway is on your left.
